This is my entry in Brownamazon's Second Official Vox Stalking Sweepstakes. I must say that this was harder than I thought it would be, for various reasons, none of which I can tell you without giving away who I am writing about. I could not get this to work as a letter, so I've (sort of) turned it into something more like a poem. Guess who...

have to stick together.
You are my hot suede,
my peach fuzz, my sweet
willful velvet joy.
There is no other truth
than this.
I am needed and needy,
obsession and obsessed,
possessor and possessed,
keeper and kept.
You are, each, one
half of my heart.
Where I go, you go.
When I rise, you rise.
When I sleep, you dream.
I am yours, you
are mine and each other's
and nobody's
in particular.

Hello, good Vox people.

I've decided to post over at Blogger, for the most part, these days. The perpetual cross-posting stopped making sense, a while ago and, sadly, I've been neglecting my Vox blog out of sheer laziness, primarily. Also, every time I begin to write something here, I can't help noticing that little check box that says:

"This may be offensive or otherwise not for the public."

I find it terribly distracting. Regardless of what silly thing I am about to write, this always makes me feel strangely self-conscious...sort of like I'm preparing to go to church wearing red crotchless panties and somehow the nature of my unmentionables has become such common knowledge that the rest of the congregation needs to be warned.

I'll try to decide how best to use Vox, going forward. In the meantime, if you need me, please come over to Miami Rhapsody. Just pour yourself a drink, and make yourself at home.
